Why pay-per-call instead of a monthly subscription?
Pro tier exposes sensitive personal data (phone numbers, emails, wallets). Pay-per-call ensures you only pay for what you actually use, and it naturally discourages unnecessary data harvesting — protecting user privacy.
What data is included in the Free tier?
The Free tier returns the user's total score (300–999), verification level, credential status (verified/not verified for each type), score breakdown, username, and wallet address. No personal contact information is exposed.
What happens if a user isn't on WorldScore?
The API returns "data": null with a 200 status. You should prompt the user to verify on WorldScore using the deep link. This call is free and does not count toward Pro billing.
Can I switch between Free and Pro?
Yes. Free and Pro will use the same API key. You'll simply enable Pro access in your dashboard and add a payment method. You can disable it anytime.
How is pricing calculated for Pro?
Each API call that returns unmasked data costs $0.05. Calls that return data: null (user not found) are free. Usage is billed monthly via your dashboard.
